Paravel: Orchestrating a Remarkable Delivery Experience of Bundle and Personalized Items

Paravel is a company that makes high-quality, innovative, and responsibly produced luggage, bags, and other traveling accessories. They believe that one-of-a-kind products deserve a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. That is why, whether growing product categories or overseeing what lies beyond the curtains of their post-purchase operations, Paravel is always evolving while preserving its brand DNA.



For businesses that have personalization as one of their selling points, the supply chain gets bogged down by complexity.


Paravel’s digital logistics strategy needs to facilitate the processes of shipping and returning products that are personalized and sourced from multiple warehouses.

Their order delivery system is built on the concept of multi-shipments and that is an already tough situation to handle.


Aside from that, Paravel’s business model incorporates on-demand designs and customization for clients, as well as the delivery of bundled goods. To put it simply: products need to be personalized with a monogram at a different location, and then they need to be sent separately to fulfill the same order, and that is an extra layer of complexity that needed to be solved.


To handle the complexity of personalized items, Paravel employed numerous platforms and split order tracking information between them. This included Shopify, Bright Pearl, and multiple 3PL systems. In such circumstances keeping track of all orders, data became impossible.


Paravel was forced to re-think its operational order planning and execution strategies and to achieve flexibility, the company needed to create an after purchase system that caters to a variety of demand patterns. 

Paravel needed a mechanism that combines all of this information, separates the bundle product into physical items, notifies consumers about customization status, and provides a clear insight into each shipment’s status.



To simplify data collection and produce actionable insights on the status of each delivery, Paravel works with WeSupply. The company reduced time and complexity by integrating all systems into one, rather than hundreds of integrations with many platforms and carriers.


We integrated all Paravels order data points from Celigo into the WeSupply platform by working closely with Sellry (Shopify Plus Solution Partner).


By implementing WeSupply, Paravel was able to:


  • Split Bundle products into actual products, and provide the customer updates on each product
  • Implemented custom order statuses for personalization
  • Centralized all order information in one place
  • Notified the customer about the order status regardless of where the product was sourced from.

Providing peace of mind through the retail journey

With WeSupply, Paravel allows customers to track multi-shipments under the same order combining all shipments into a single view that shows all package statuses in one place.

They employed proactive notifications for each step of their shipment journey to put their brand’s reputation on the line. This is where Paravel, as a retailer, had an opportunity to build

credibility, provide some peace in the mind of the customer, and ultimately improve the customer’s experience.


This has cut down on customer service inquiries about order status, particularly for items that were sent in several shipments for the same order.

Custom Order Statuses for Personalization

The standard Shopify order statuses were insufficient to meet customer demands for delivery information.


For every client, the time between placing an order and receiving it is important, especially when a deadline exists. Paravel was using Shopify’s basic notification emails, but the communication with consumers was insufficient to match their need for information.


Wesupply makes it possible to change the status to anything they need, allowing them to provide more information about each phase of fulfillment without having to do any extra legwork.


While initially, it seemed that it was impossible to solve for all order scenarios from all external systems with different order statuses and data points, using WeSupplys powerful API we were able to accommodate even for the wildest requests.
